v.26.5 — current

A small studio for large
web problems.

Anything Hosted is a UK web infrastructure and applications studio. We architect, deploy and look after the parts of your product that have to keep running at 03:00 — full-stack hosting, hosted applications from brief to maintenance, WordPress plugin work, and API integrations.

01 — Services

What we build, host & maintain.

Four disciplines, run by one small team. Most clients hire us for one and end up keeping us on for the others — because the moving parts of a modern web product rarely sit in one box.

01
Web Infrastructure Consulting & full-stack deployment
We design the systems that sit under your web application — provisioning, CI/CD, observability, backups, scaling, the lot. Most engagements start with an audit of what you've got, then a quiet migration to something that doesn't wake you up.

02
Hosted Applications Requirements → development → test → deploy → maintenance
Bespoke web apps owned end-to-end. You bring the problem; we run discovery, build, ship, and stay on. One team from the first sketch to the third year of patches — no handoffs, no orphaned codebases.
Laravel Node.js Postgres React Playwright SLAs
03
WordPress Plugins Custom plugin development
Production-grade plugins built to the WordPress coding standards — for marketplaces, for in-house tools, for clients who need the CMS to do something the CMS does not do. Long-term maintenance and core-update reviews included.
PHP 8 WP-CLI REST API Gutenberg WooCommerce
04
API Integrations Connecting the systems you already run
Stripe, HubSpot, Xero, Salesforce, internal ERPs, half-documented legacy SOAP services — we wire them together with proper error handling, retries, idempotency and audit trails. Webhooks that survive Mondays.

02 — Process

Five stages, no surprises.

Every engagement runs on the same rails: a short discovery, a written architecture, two-week build cycles, a quiet deploy, and a long maintenance tail.

/01

Discovery

A working session and a written brief. We map what exists, what's missing, and the cheapest path to value.

/02

Architecture

A small, boring document. Stack, hosting, integrations, rollout. Approved before a line of code.

/03

Build

Two-week cycles, demo-able every Friday. Tests written alongside, not after. You see everything.

/04

Ship

Staging mirrors production. Deploys go out the front door, behind a feature flag, on a quiet Wednesday.

/05

Maintain

We stay on. Patching, monitoring, the on-call pager. Most clients are with us five years later.

03 — Stack

Tools we trust, picked on purpose.

We're stack-agnostic on principle and opinionated in practice. These are the tools we keep coming back to because they're boring, well-documented, and still around in five years.

CDAP — Concawe's REACH dossier workbench

CDAP is the back-office workbench Concawe uses to assemble REACH dossiers for petroleum-substance categories — pulling in IUCLID, ECHA, Chesar, Petrorisk and member use questionnaires against a versioned per-year dossier, then generating the C&L Extracts, Safe Use docs and CSR bundles published to the website.

05 — About

A studio, not an agency.

We're a small UK studio that has been quietly running other people's web infrastructure since 2008. No account managers, no offshore handoff, no quarterly retainers padded with PowerPoint.

The work we do well is the work most agencies dread — the migration that has to happen overnight, the plugin that has to survive twelve core updates, the integration with the API whose docs are a PDF from 2019.

We bill on fixed-scope engagements for new builds and on small monthly retainers for maintenance. You always know what you're paying and what you're getting. References, code samples and a proper conversation are a click away.
